We are proud to partner with Project Search, a non-profit organization to prepare young people with disabilities for success in integrated, competitive employment.
Yesterday was the 1st day of school for our Project Search students. We have 6 students! And an awesome dog who is a trained pet therapy dog. Over the next 9 months, the students will rotate between Dietary, Housekeeping, Laundry, Central Supply and Life Enrichment to learn skills that will one day lead to jobs throughout Jacksonville! This will be quite a challenge for the Palm Garden of Jacksonville family as we help these young people become independent members of our community. It is our honor.
